28 February 2005 #2: Russell retraction on Probst

Jerry Russell has retracted his claim that Pentagon witness Frank Probst was provably lying and has accepted my argument concerning the compatibility of his claimed location with his testimony and the ASCE, as I discussed in the previous entry. He has also taken down his entire eyewitness analysis for re-evaluation and potential revision. His email message was quite gracious, making me realize that he is more open to debating his findings than I gave him credit for, and thus some of my previous rhetoric does not fairly reflect on him and his site (although it does apply to some other sites). So on that, I stand corrected as well. Depending on the results of Russell's re-evaluation, I may have more comments later, but for now I am going to give the Pentagon eyewitness issue a rest.
